"When I watched Sara Augieras’ «Untitled Response» my attention immediately got caught by the moving images and sound of the ocean. This became the starting point of my response «Respira», filmed in Necoclí, Colombia."

 

Norwegian dance artist Sara Røisland Torsvik is the artistic director and choreographer of SART dance company. She also works freelance with her base in Bergen. Torsvik works conceptually and explores existential themes such as absolute presence, identity and (bodily-)memories, and seeks the real, unrefined expression.
